PrometeoNetwork is honored to participate to the 5th Edition of the Bioforum in Milan (Italy). Bioforum (www.bioforum.it/en) was born in 2004 and it is an Expo-Conference on biotechnologies. The event aims at promoting the meeting between science and business through faster innovation and the introduction of new products and services. The next edition will be held in Milan the 1st and 2nd October 2008 at the Conference Centre - Palazzo delle Stelline, Corso Magenta 61, close to the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie where The Last Supper, the famous painting of Leonardo is displayed. It is in the historical centre of Milan, easily reachable by buses and metro, it is an unique and fascinating location that will offer you all the comforts of the area. Bioforum consists of a plenary conference and a closing session, different conferences tackling key issues on innovation, workshops and round tables for associations, science and technology parks presentation. The conference program and themes will be drew up and selected in collaboration with Assobiotec, the Italian Association for the development of Biotechnology. Bioforum 2008 will focus on three main lines: the development of industrial enterprises, the interaction between the academic and industrial world and lastly the effects of biotechnological innovation on society. The conference program will be constantly updated on the website www.bioforum.it/en. Throughout the two days, an exhibition area will be available for Italian and foreigner business operators and clusters who wish to present their achievements in terms of technological excellence as well as promote business meetings.In cooperation with Innov-Hub, Bioforum organizes one to one business meetings to promote technology transfer among research centers, universities and enterprises operating in the biotechnology field. Through pre-arranged individual discussions, participants will have the opportunity to find potential technology and business partners at an international level.
