This is a Community of Scientists involved in Stem Cell research. Members of this Group enhance their knowledge and practice through the exchange of information within this Group and also benefit of being connected with the other PrometeoGroups. 

Stem Cells are a flexible branch of study because of their capacity to differenciate into different types of cells. They represent an appealing field of research for scientists involved in the Life-Sciences. Currently, there is a particular interest in translational medicine, aiming to “transfer scientific evidences developed at the benchside to the bedside”. 

From tissue engineering to cancer research, stem cells can represent an innovative therapeutic tool and at the same time a valid model to study cell and tissue development.  

Technology evolves fast, with an continous need for innovative equipment and trained Researchers. If this need can rarely be satisfied inside a single Institution, networking can help achieving higher goals.

Mission & Aims: 

To facilitate the exchange of information to boost the research on Stem Cells by sharing information and overcoming technical difficulties.   

To promote connections among Physicians and Researchers interested in this field, in order to facilitate collaborations.
