The new generations of surgeons “young surgeons” are nowadays, an important reality in the world giving a boost towards new technology and contributing to health and science.  

Due to the constant need of being up to date in this field, was created in Italy a group by the name of “Giovani Chirurghi”, which is still an active association in the scientific and organizational point of view. Still, information and innovative therapies are being developed by many other groups outside Italy, reason why an international group for “Young Surgeons” was formed. 

Information travel fast, but we believe that making connections with other groups from all over the world will not only allow a faster exchange of information but it will also increase opportunities of creating collaborations and obtaining fellowships.  

Mission & Aims: 

We believe that by interacting through a trusted network and achieving connections within each other, that young surgeons will obtain a better an integral formation. 

This group has the goal to give the means for creating long distance connections where bidirectional exchange of information can take place. 

As other objectives of this group, is to provide with visibility of the work performed by our members, as well as to give assistance on obtaining rotations abroad to continue their training.
