Proteomic & Microarray Online

This is a community of Scientists involved in the innovative techniques of Microarray & Proteomic. As part of this group, Members will benefit of our topic, as well as of the connection with the other PrometeoGroups.

Medicine is evolving from what was essentially observational science a century ago to what is largely molecular science nowadays. Many medical advances are derived from important innovations in technology. Few decades ago, the "technology explosion" created an immense impact to both biomedical research and clinical medicine. Tremendous strides were made with the aid of numerous new technologies such as recombinant DNA technique, DNA sequencing, MRI, PCR, monoclonal antibody, and more recently, microarray and proteomics.

The novel microarray and proteomics technologies offer extended opportunities for disease prevention and treatment.

The purpose of this group is to gather scientists who are directly linked to the systematic study of microarray and proteins, in order to develop a "collective multi-task brain", where researchers involved in this field can benefit from sharing information, experience and knowledge.

Our participants benefit of a direct and unfiltered interaction with  the community.

Aims:

Provide our Members with a topic-based Network that can help them to enhance their skills and knowledge of proteomic and microarray technologies. 

Build a specialized environment where Members can discuss the application of these emerging technologies in basic and clinical research.

Help our Members to expand their knowledge, improve troubleshooting, increase collaborations, and seek for jobs as well.    

Create a forum to analyse and discuss the following topics: 

Proteomic as the leading field to explore cell life

Future in proteomic: how this tool could be improved (e.g: by nanotechnology?) 

Advantages and limitation of these technologies
